Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Good morning Boxstars, we wanted to take a quick minute to write to you all. We are in the middle of the most hectic time of the year - the holidays. Hopefully Santa came and gave you all the coolest gear and accessories, and hopefully you filled up on Christmas cookies and holiday ham (we know we did). We're seeing a bunch of Boxstar filled Christmas present posts and we couldn't be more thrilled! And that's really why we wanted to write to you guys today.

2016 is winding down quickly, so we wanted to take a minute to reflect on the past year - this was definitely a milestone year for us. Starting back with the 2016 open, we saw three of our athletes qualify for their very first CrossFit Regionals - Dylan Martin, Streat Hoerner and Andrew Hiller all qualified for the Central Super Regional for the first time! And Jessica Schwartz qualified to the same Regionals for the second time! This awesome group led us to Columbus Ohio where we attended our very first Regionals event as a company, and couldn't believe how much you guys loved our little 10x10 booth that was overflowing with gear and guests alike. 

After seeing all the success we had in Columbus, we were absolutely fired up for the rest of the year. We hit it hard, attending events from Iowa all the way to Michigan, and met tons and tons of awesome people along the way. We carried all of our momentum from the summer into the fall and attended the Granite Games for the very first time, with 7 of our athletes by our side - Dylan and Streat performed in the pro division, Andrew and Jessica fielded a team in the Community Division, Nichole Marth competed in the Teens division, and Blair Chapman and Justin Richardson each had teams in the AsRX Team Division. 

As the Fall turned to Winter, again we were absolutely blown away as online orders flew in during our Black Friday/Cyber Monday specials, to the tune of double our anticipated volume of sales. We even had to get some extra help to get all the orders fulfilled because we just couldn't do it on our own. The way we look at it, that's an awesome problem to have! And now, we are in the final week of 2016, with our eyes starting to focus in on the next chapter of our story, 2017.

We are super stoked for 2017 and everything that comes with it. Our athletes have only gotten better over the past year, and we know they are hungry for the Open. We can't wait to see who will make the trip with us to Nashville for the Central Regionals. And lets not forget the CrossFit Games! Dave Castro shocked us all last month when he announced that the Games will be leaving California for Madison, and we couldn't be more excited. If you guys are planning on attending, plan on stopping by the Boxstar Booth, we'll have some awesome, exclusive Wisconsin Games themed gear for you all!

But the competitive CrossFit Season isn't all that we are excited for. We plan on expanding the brand big time in 2017. Currently, Boxstar is mainly a midwest company - that's where we started, where our people are, and where you'll see us. In 2017 our goal is to take it nationwide. We want people to see us and know who we are from coast to coast. That means brand ambassadors, more sponsored athletes and more boots on the ground across the nation. Stay tuned for the debut of our Brand Ambassador Program - intended for anyone who loves the Boxstar brand as much as us and wants to help us promote even more! This program will launch in the next few weeks, but it will be a limited launch. If you're interested, don't wait around, we expect these spots to fill up quick. It'll take a group effort, but we are confident that with a bolstered support team we will be the next favorite brand in this industry we all love so much. 

So, to wrap up, we just wanted to say thank you again for all the love and support over the past year. The growth we had was incredible, and its 100% due to amazing fans and supporters of the Boxstar brand. We have tons of momentum rolling into 2017, and can't wait to continue building on what we accomplished in 2016. In 2017, plan on seeing Boxstar Apparel sitting next to the big boys of the industry.
